Gary Bohanon
Senior Pastor
Pastor Bohanon and his wife, Shirley, began attending this church in October of 1969. After graduating from Bible school, he served as the Youth Pastor here until 1973 when he left to pastor a church in Cleveland, OK. From there, Pastor Bohanon and his wife went to the mission field serving in the country of Taiwan. In 1983, Pastor Bohanon returned to Crossroads to serve as an Associate Pastor. In November of 2006, Pastor Bohanon was elected Senior Pastor of Crossroads Church and began serving in that role January 2, 2007.
Terry Barriss
Executive Pastor
Terry Barriss serves as the Executive Pastor at Crossroads Church. He and his wife Carrie have been in various positions of ministry for the past 18 years. They have been employed at Crossroads Church since June of 2008. Terry oversees the various ministries of the church and is in charge of staff development. Because of their personal testimony of how God redeemed their marriage and brought beauty for ashes, Terry and Carrie are passionate about the marriage class they teach on Sunday mornings. Terry and Carrie have 3 children: Tyler age 14, Emmalee age 12, and Spencer age 9.
Kara Hendrickson
Kids Pastor
Pastor Kara grew up in a Christian home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in English. Kara also has a teaching certificate from the University of Oklahoma. Kara met her husband Gary at Crossroads Church and they married in January 2005. After resigning from her teaching position with Mustang Public Schools, Kara came on staff in March 2007. Kara and Gary have a beautiful baby boy Judah who was born in December of 2009.
Mark Thornton
Youth Pastor
Pastor Mark Thornton Jr. joined the pastoral staff at Crossroads Church in September of 2008. He was born in Texas and attended Texas A&M University to achieve a marketing degree until God called him to Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK. There Pastor Mark received a calling on his life to become a Youth Pastor. In 2006 Pastor Mark graduated from Rhema and moved to Madison, TN and became a Jr. High Pastor at Cornerstone Church. After serving faithfully for two and a half years at Cornerstone Church God called Pastor Mark and his wife Mary to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Now Pastor Mark is the Youth Pastor here at Crossroads Church and resides in Oklahoma City with his wife Mary and their two beautiful girls Mykel and McKinley.
Chase Parsons
Ministry Associate
Chase Parsons grew up in a in Fairview, OK. He has attended Crossroads Church on Sunday mornings and evenings with his family since birth in 1981. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts, specializing in Sociology and Economics. Chase’s walk with God began as a child being raised in a Christian home and continued through high school and college. He has enjoyed serving in several worship ministries, Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship, and the young adult ministry here at Crossroads Church. His passion is to have a Dreamcenter ministry in the future.
Clarence Johnson
Pastoral Care
Pastor Clarence Johnson and his wife, Jacki, began attending Crossroads Church in the Spring of 1986. He has served as a Sunday School teacher, an Elder and as a Deacon.
In 2007 he joined the pastoral staff where is currently serves as Pastoral Care Minister.
Jodie Usry
Business Administrator
Jodie has taken part in and served in ministry at Crossroads Church since 1974. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor degree in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration. A Certified Public Accountant, Jodie worked at Hertz, Sonic and Devon corporate offices in various accounting roles prior to joining our staff in February, 2010.
Terry Williams
Facilities Director
Terry has been faithfully attending Crossroads Church since 1986. In April of 1989, after owning his own construction business for years he accepted a position at Crossroads Church. In 2003, Terry accepted the position of Facility Director, which he currently holds. Terry has been married to his beautiful wife, DeAnn, for 34 years. The Lord has blessed them with 2 wonderful daughters, Amber and Angela, and they have blessed he and his wife with 5 precious grandsons. Terry is truly a servant and feels most accomplished and fulfilled when he is able to facilitate others needs and see them accomplished.
Chad Drewery
Media Director
Chad has spent his entire life in and around ministry. Growing up in the home of a youth pastor provided many opportunities for working in the church both behind the scenes and on stage. Prior to joining the staff at Crossroads Church, Chad worked in churches across the country for seven years designing, installing and training church members on sound, lighting and video systems. Chad and his wife Kristal were married in 2003, and have two boys, Reece and Caden.
Dustin Drewery
I.T. Director
Dustin joined the staff in 2008. Prior to coming on staff, Dustin developed online applications, databases, and servers for various companies. He and his wife Amy are both certified ministers and have served in various ministries and churches ranging from Sunday School teachers to Chi Alpha Dorm Parents. They were married in 2005 and have a daughter Aly who was born in 2008.
